Study: Affluents prefer Rolex, Apple, Costco

In a separate study, AARC found that the future spending plans of affluent consumers are above historic lows established in a spring 2009 survey, but remain below pre-recession levels. The relatively improved mood of the affluent, AARC said, appears to reflect a number of factors, including first quarter gains in the stock market and an improved outlook for their personal household income and net worth.
