When people think of Bangkok, mostly they think about wats (temples), shopping, the bustling city and the night life including all the wonderful places to eat. What they may not realise is that the city also has a thriving arts scene. Would you like to learn to draw and paint? Attic Studios on Sukhumvit Soi 31, have art classes for all. There’s lots going on! Check out their website and see for yourself. If you’re not lucky enough to be able to visit Bangkok, they recommend artist Barry John Raybould’s “virtual art academy” where you can become a student online. The prices are very reasonable. As someone with a keen interest in art I’m tempted to give this a try myself. There are several art and photography exhibitions currently happening too. Have we forgot?
