There are two main facilities in Le Brassus, one housed in the original manufacture from 1875 and the other a more recent addition from 2008. The former houses the restoration department, the museum, the Audemars Piguet archives, and a dedicated tourbillon workshop, while the newer manufacture is where the majority of AP watches are made today. Even though the expansion is less than a decade old, AP already needs more space and is currently working on another addition to increase capacity. The modern manufacture is tucked into a little flat spot in the valley, and you have to cross a picturesque stream to get through the front door. The entire building is flooded with light from the massive windows and it is an environmentally friendly structure (something Audemars Piguet is quite proud of).
