Bocuse d’Or Chefs Will Compete at Melisse in Santa Monica

On November 10, chef Josiah Citrin will host a seven-course dinner—along with other chefs including Trey Foshee (a cohost of the event) of George’s at the Cove in La Jolla, Calif., and Michael Tusk of Quince in San Francisco—at his restaurant Melisse in Santa Monica. The ticket is $185 per person, $100 of which goes to benefit the Bocuse d’Or USA Foundation, which offers scholarships and internships to serious young chefs. Each chef will prepare a different course, and diners will vote on each dish based on similar criteria to those used in the international Bocuse d’Or competition.
