DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. - Action Express Racing is proud to announce a star-studded lineup for the 51st Running of the Rolex 24 At Daytona. Full-time AXR drivers Joao Barbosa, Christian Fittipaldi, along with Brian and Burt Frisselle, will be joined by Mike Rockenfeller, Felipe Nasr and Nelson Piquet Jr. for the 24-Hour event. “After the Roar, AXR will finalize its driver and car assignments, as it works to produce the best chemistry among it’s two cars for the best overall results, an advantage other teams do not have,” said team manager Gary Nelson. Mike Rockenfeller is one of the drivers that will be assigned to a car after the Roar and is no stranger to Action Express Racing. “Rocky” was a part of the 2010 Rolex 24 winning team with AXR alongside Joao Barbosa. Felipe Nasr competed in the 2012 Rolex 24 after winning the “Sunoco Daytona Challenge” and finished on the podium ...
