Cops: Man stole 2 Rolex watches from South Barrington home

A 19-year-old man is charged with snatching two Rolex watches from a home in an upscale area of South Barrington.Naim Abu-Maizer of Hoffman Estates stole a men’s Rolex President watch and a women’s timepiece in the same style July 4 from a home on Beacon Hill Drive in the northwest suburb, prosecutors said. The items stolen were worth more than $60,000, prosecutors said, and online retailers list President watches for more than $45,000. Abu-Maizer was arrested Friday, according to a police report. On Sunday, Cook County Judge Adam Bourgeois Jr. ordered Abu-Maizer held on $25,000 bond on a felony theft charge.
