If you attended the Grand-Am Rolex Sports Car Series race on March 2 at Circuit of the Americas near Austin, Texas, or watched it on TV, I'm sure you will agree with me: it is one of the finest road courses in America. COTA features a great track design and good levels of safety. Looking back at all the pictures and video, you can see the beauty and challenge of the course, but no view compares to that from the driver's seat. I got my first opportunity to enjoy the track on Thursday before the race.
