MOCO'12: a modern appliance made of wood and porcelain

February 2012. Among the notable objects and architecture of 2012, a porcelain espresso machine... Combining ancient craft materials, wood and porcelain (porcelain dates back to the Shang Dynasty 1600-1046 BC) to create a modern appliance struck our fancy. That it makes coffee, one of our favourite beverages, and makes the most of the tasteless, easy cleaning and high heat retention qualities of said porcelain begs the question - why is Seppl Espresso Machine by Arvid Hausser not in production yet?
