The engineers at Williams F1 have created three series of golf clubs, the most expensive of which costs $50,000. Josh Trivett, a director for Williams Sports, said: “Golf has always been technology driven. The aerodynamics of high-end sports cars is the same thing we’re looking for in golf clubs. Williams Sports has 250 engineers who know how to work with materials, weighting and aerodynamics." Using the same knowledge they bring to the F1 grid, they have incorporated Densimet in all of their woods and irons. It is the second-heaviest metal in the world and you'll find it in the FW32 racecar helping bring the car up to the minimum race weight. In addition, Inconel, a nickel-based material used by Williams F1 for exhaust parts, has also been integrated.
