KOR - A good qualifying for both F2012s

Yeongam, 13 October – The Ferrari F2012s will start from the second and third rows of the grid for tomorrow’s Korean Grand Prix after Fernando Alonso qualified fourth in 1.37.534 and Felipe Massa set the sixth fastest time in 1.37.884. Just as happened last Saturday in Japan, a Red Bull took pole, but this time it was Mark Webber on the top slot with a 1.37.242, while Sebastian Vettel had to settle for second in 1.37.316. The qualifying “podium” was completed by Lewis Hamilton (1.37.469) in the McLaren. The pace of the two F2012s over a long run has been encouraging this weekend, so Ferrari can count on fighting for finishing higher up the order than its grid positions. Tomorrow should see the hottest temperatures yet recorded at a Korean Grand Prix and as the track continues to evolve, there is currently a difference of around half a second in lap time between the Soft an...
