Scary...! :) Devil’s Pool, Zambia

Sheesh! Not likely. I think I would enjoy the scenery more without getting wet, although adventure travel lovers may want to do otherwise. They don’t call it the devils pool for nothing! Comment by Luxury Travel — June 9, 2009 @ 8:34 pm I have sat in the pool – BUT it was when the river was low and you could easily walk to it….still very spectacular and scary looking over the edge (even though the drop is nowhere near 1708 meters, more like 100m drop – maybe 1700 wide???) This means they are not the highest or the widest in the world, but they do lay claim to being the largest ’sheet’ of falling water in the world.
