Bowmore Islay Single Malt Scotch Whisky Releases 54 Year Old Whisky @bowmore1779

Fans of Single Malt Whisky will be clamoring for a bottle of the exclusive Bowmore 1957. The 54-year-old whisky is the oldest Islay Single Malt ever released and with only 12 bottles available it makes sense why Bottles No.1 and No. 2 will be offered through a public auction. The auctions will take place at international auction house Bonhams in Edinburgh on Oct. 10 and in New York Cit y on Oct. 28. With a minimum reserve of £100,000 per bottle, it still might be the best chance to snag a bottle. Besides, it’s hard to go wrong when the net proceeds from both sales are being donated to five Scottish charities. “We are very excited at Bonhams to offer at auction the rarest and oldest expression of Bowmore, said Martin Green, Bonhams Whisky Specialist.
