The London Eye takes experiential dining to new heights

As the London skyline changes shape with the addition of iconic new landmarks - the Shard, the Olympic Stadium, Anish Kapoor's Orbit tower - its existing landmarks are upping their game. Now you can climb the Dome , stay the night on the roof of the Southbank Centre , and have dinner on the Millennium Wheel. 'Dining at 135', a three-course meal on the London Eye, takes the experiential dining concept to new heights. The experience takes place at night, once the other passengers have disembarked at 8.30pm, and all the capsules are empty except two, which are furnished with dining tables for up to eight people. Food and drink is brought on - one course per revolution - in flight boxes by waiters. But this is not your average in-flight meal; it's a proper fine-dining experience - and a fun and rather surreal one, against the constantly changing background of the capital. Carp...
