Hermès Collaborates with Leica to Create a $50,000 Camera

Hermès collaborates regularly with different brands to give its touch to their products. They have created a large and loyal customer base who pick up these specially designed products at fancy prices. Hermès has already collaborated with Leica twice and is now doing it for the third time. The result is a special edition camera that is being released in two sets. The first set which is relatively inexpensive will have a production run of 300 pieces whereas the expensive set will have only 100 pieces available. The cameras have been wrapped in Hermès’ ‘Veau Swift’ calfskin in ocre. The body of the camera is finished in silver chrome and anodized silver.
