Whew. There’s a lot to consider. For the Concept One audio system, Vilner chose a purist’s class A push-pull vacuum tube amplifier design (audiophile-speak for ‘epic’). Two mono blocks (true high-end audio always uses a separate amplifier for each side of the stereo picture to keep the signal as pure as possible) power handmade speakers mounted in beautiful, aerodynamically tested birch plywood cabinets. The dimensions of the speaker cabinets have been mathematically calculated to provide the most lovely, velvety bass sounds imaginable, and the speakers are connected to the amplifier with specially designed solid silver cables to make sure as little sound as possible gets lost along the way.
