Cadel Evans has cut his losses in the Ardennes before a sinus infection wreaks havoc with his Tour de France campaign. On Sunday the Australian cycling star was forced to pull out during Amstel Gold, the first of the three Ardennes one-day classics, because of his illness. Now Evans’ BMC team has announced he will not start in Fleche Wallonne, which he won two years ago, and Liege-Bastogne-Liege.
