Entertaining: Hosting a dinner for Gü

As I speed back to London via TGV & Eurostar, I’ve been busy making lists and getting organised for the Gü dinner that I mentioned last week . One of the great things about finally having my apartment looking the way I want it, is that I can now entertain properly, and I am very pleased that I am kicking off by hosting an evening at home for eight guests on behalf of England’s premier pudding purveyors. This time I’m not cooking – Gü’s head chef Fred Ponnevoy is in charge, along with his sous chef, in my kitchen, and he has planned an interesting multi-course menu, previewing some of the recipes from the new Gü Cookbook, which launches this October.
