One of the most spectacular superyachts ever built

Originally commissioned by a Saudi businessman, Pelorus was delivered in 2003 and used for just one long cruise before being sold in 2004. The top bidder at that time was Russian business tycoon and Chelsea FC owner, Roman Abramovich, and this became the first of his growing fleet of superyachts. The top deck of the vessel has a lido with two swimming pools, in addition to the boat’s two helipads, various other extravagant features and a large door in the hull opens to a deck with a wide choice of smaller vessels. She is powered by two 3,900kW Wärtsilä V12 engines – that’s enough power for a car ferry.
