Linde Werdelin Introduces The Oktopus II Double Date Red @lindewerdelin
So now, Linde Werdelin is adding a 4th version of the Oktopus II Double Date in titanium, a red version. Sporting a bright red rubber bracelet and red accents on the dial and bezel. The two layer dial is very interesting as the lower layer is made with a circular Cote de Genève dial to give the effect of water ripples. The two wheels at 11 and 1 o’clock are laser cut and display the date through the apertures just above the center pinion. The Cote de Genève dial doesn’t reveal the date unless they reach the date aperture. The rest of the two red wheels are hidden behind a turbine-looking ‘cut’ in the dial. The Arabic numerals 9, 3 and 6 are in red as well and using superluminova just like the hands. This ensures perfect readability in the dark.
