Online is driving massive growth in #luxury retail

It would be interesting to see the statistics on established Luxury Markets versus markets where luxury is relatively new and is experiencing huge growth and whether there is a difference. For instance, Australian are avid consumers of online but then again we have not been so exposed to exciting store experience like other countries. I also believe there has been a lot of research done to suggest this increase is coming for a younger demographic of affluent younger people. Perhaps, young people feel more confident and more savvy to buy online. I also think that what happens at store level it still very important and can still translate into online sales.
