In a bit of news sure to bring a nostalgic smile to video gamers everywhere, the owner of an original copy of Tetris is hawking the game cartridge online for a cool US1 million. The iconic video game was created by programmer Alexey Pajitnov during the Soviet Union era, and there are reportedly only ten copies or less of this cartridge still in public hands. This particular copy of Tetris for Sega's 16-bit console was signed by Pajitnov himself, according to the owner of this "rare, exclusive, elusive, obscure and desirable centerpiece." He forked out over 11,000 Euro for the cartridge back in 2008. Collectors have been quick to enquire after this technological relic - the seller says he has rebuffed two eBay offers of about US$20,000 each.
