- Some people have barely unpacked their bags from Art Basel Miami Beach and the holidays that followed, but don’t look now: The art fair schedule for the first half of 2013 is set. So it’s time to sync devices, scribble in calendars and tie a string around your finger – whatever’s necessary to save the following dates. January and February . Even though it’s the slowest time of year besides high summer, this period is anything but dormant. Time to attend some fairs you have been thinking about trying: Art Los Angeles Contemporary (Jan 24-27), with 70 international booths; India Art Fair , with 100 galleries, largely from India (Feb 1-1), gathering in New Delhi indiaartfair.in; ARCO Madrid (Feb 13-17), with a Euro-heavy mix of 200 dealers.
